Hello *waves*

I am Sarah.

Started skate uk at Cannock Feb 2008. Stopped skate uk in Julyish after achieving level 5. Have been just skating on my own for a while but am hoping to go back to skate uk lesons in the near future.

I also skate at Telford (went to my first adult morning last week) and sometimes Tamworth.

Hey Sarah and welcome, there's a couple on here who skate at cannock including me, and those telford adult mornings are just gold :)

EXCEPT... the free coffee is too hot haha

Feel free to let any other skater friends know about our little website, and make any recommendations for things you'd like to see on here.

If you are currently on grade 5 then you may be interested in the skate UK grade breakdown I am building here - http://www.onlineicerink.co.uk/faq/skate-uk.asp.  It gives a comprehensive list of the skate uk grades and how to perform each move.

Wow someone who agrees, I know exactly THAT feeling, I've left whole cups because from the canteen you can see the clock and your ice time is just flying past :(

Hi I'm a newbie too. I skate at Cannock but hate being watched lol. I spend a lot of time watching my son skate as he is by far the better skater, although he bigs me up and says I'm great LOL. I've been skating since Cannock opened on the first skate uk. I have passed my grade 10 but don't want to do my passport. I can jump up to and including cherry (toe loop) and my coach has asked if I'd like to do more cus she says I could pass level 1 field moves. ( I'm better at those than my son he he). If anyone wants to know about competitions I'm an old hand now and could prob answer most questions, including places to stay lol.
its good to watch but even better get on and skate

Regarding the competitions, if you felt like it you could help me write up an FAQ page about them.

Check lists for things you will need such as paperwork, coaches fees etc etc
