Anyone have one?

A friend was telling me someone brought in an off-ice spinner...I was quite intrigued....

I bought an exercise twist board from Argos, which was only £10.  It lets you do 360 turns, so does the same job as a spinner Smile I do find it pretty useful for practising, plus it's just fun!

Oh okay...Is it worth getting something to help you spin off ice?

I would recommend an off ice spinner from bronze and above and only if thinking of taking part in competitions.

I also have the cheap one from argos.  I'm not sure if it helps with your actual spinning technique as you cannot replicate the same feeling as being on the ice.  However, I think it does help you get used to the dizziness.  One word of warning though - you do have to be so careful on those things as if you come off balance just a little bit you will go flying!
